Stepless Control

All new cranes since 1987 are equipped with a PLC-base (Programmable Logical Controller) to control Vector Controllers (Frequency controller) or DC-Converters, which via joysticks gives a completely stepless velocity control of all movement which ensures precise stepless motions of the burden

 

This also ensures maximum reliability and safety, faults and information are immediately read out on to the cabin fitted colour touch screen monitor, such as burden weight, hook position, trolley position, wind speed and so on.

 

Possible system faults are shown in a separate "window" and by a finger touch the cause and correction can be read off.

 

If radio- or remote- control is required, the control panel can be supplied with monitor.

 

All components are fitted into a housing and of the highest quality. Circuit breakers, switches etc. are numbered or marked for identification.

 

Nearly all internal electrical installation is by multi-plug connections reducing erection time.Before anything is shipped away, electrical tests of the finished product are taken.

     

 

 

 

Cabin
Cabins are designed to give the operator optimum survey over the site with high degree of comfort under all climatic conditions. The cabins are fitted with a fully adjustable, ergonomically correct seat and 200 degrees view windows. They are insulated, lighting and power points and other items are fitted.

 

The crane operator is ensured maximum control over the work being carried out. Type K-1 is for the operator only, type K-3 is similar but extended to include the housing for the power/control electronics and electric's, which gives optimum protection of the components and perfect work conditions for service and adjustments to be carried out.
